Appleyard Cottage Garden Update

Well finally, here's some pics of our garden for 2006 (and Tammie of course!). When I get a chance, I'll post some pics of the garden from previous years.

Here's the Formal French Rose Garden area with one and a half beds out of the 6 finished. Wow - can't you just see how beautiful the finished garden will be (apply lots of imagination now)!

Here's a close-up of the one of the seats at either end of the garden - this one is next to the newly planted Lilac tree! - and surprise surprise - Tammie our Border Collie doesn't have a ball in her mouth!

Here's a sneak peak at some of the French Roses that can't wait to get planted into their new home!

Here's some pics of the Veggie Garden at last - Corn in the back and potatoes in the front,

and is that a pumpkin peaking through the grass?

The weeping apple is loaded with lots of yummy apples, that are just ripening now. The crimson lorikeets and cockatoos ate all the apples from the other trees that weren't netted this year, so we'll need to buy more netting next year! (I don't mind them eating some of the apples - it's just when they leave none for us!)

The apple tree that Murray put about 3 different graft varieties on in 2002 is producing some really nice apples this year - golden delicious, marigold and fuji . All the 9 grafts took really well.
